Happy Umi no Hi!πππ (ocean day)
I'm officially a transfer 5 missionary, what is time?
Also hello my dear family and friends, I hope you're all happy and wellπ
So yes, this week. I've never felt so stressed, but so good through out my whole mission experience until this week. Also my love for Gokiso has increased by 263739291y383901i1%
I became the area senior companion, (one of my comps is a transfer 9). So not the actual Senior compaion yet, but I've had to step up my game 327465876045720370% ever since this happened. The stress is real right now.
Being in a trio has been quite the experience. If I'm being honest, it's not as fun as I thought it was going to be. BUT, I have faith and hope that it has the possibility to become more fun than what it currently is and what I thought it was going to be...hopefully that makes sense.
We are 3 busy women over here. We got a lot of people to teach, 21 people to be exact, #blessed. But we dont have a lot of time to do it, and our people are all over the area...and trying to do it with 3 ppl is crazy town. Now I know how my parents felt when we went on road trips or any occasion leaving the house. It is absolute maddness.
BUT, despite all this going on, I've never felt so good. Becoming area senior comp has been stressful yes, but I've grown SO MUCH. I've never had to speak so much Japanese, have this much responsibility, and just be completely lost in the work. They always say "you just gotta get lost in the work!", I never truly understood what that meant until this week and it honestly is the greatest, most fulfilling feeling one could ever feel.
I'm also blessed with some awesome companions. Sister Bartholomew is the senior comp, shes from Reno, Nevada and a 9th transfer. My other comp is Sister Clayson, from somewhere in Oregon and is a fresh 3rd transfer. Were all pretty different from eachother, in fact I dont think I've ever been placed with such different people from myself before. It's cool to learn from them, and see their perspectives of life. Also were all at different phases of our missions so its pretty cool to be in the middle of it.
We've had some awesome miracles this week:
*We started teaching 3 new people! One of them is from the Elders and she has a baptismal date!
*Met and started teaching this cute, young Brazilian family we found, they said they beleive in the Restoration!
*We met with our awesome Sibling friends, we taught them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The younger brother is returning to the Pilippines this week :,( Super sad to see him go, but I asked him if he wants to continue to meet with missionaries there and he said he would!
*I FIXED THE CLOGGED SHOWER ALL BY MYSELF MY FATHER WOULD BE SO PROUD :,)
Heavenly Father has been helping me A LOT this week, if he wasn't helping me I dont think that I would be sane.
Anyways, pretty soon were going to check out a science and art museum for our p-day and I'm stoked. I love museums and science whoooo!
Take care everybody
